Restoration work
The fresco, placed on the wall at the bottom of the stairs of a private residence, depicts a Virgin with Child framed by a series of different painted frames and two painted twisted columns on the sides. There are also representations of a church, two priests in black robes and a kneeling female figure. On the part of the ceiling above the fresco are two intertwined circles, one with a series of roses and the other with intertwined thorns. The work carried out was both a conservation and a consolidation intervention of the whole artifact.
