Restoration work

The restoration work on the canvas is characterized by a minimum general intervention on the entire artefact: the first step was from the back of the canvas, that is, the support, to the paint film. At first analysis, the paint film was in a poor state of preservation. The film was carefully and adequately cleaned, preceded by a few cleaning tests in order to concretely verify that the waxy protective layer had yellowed.
